Sunday 12th. January 2003

Unfortunately, due to recurring problems after he was viciously attacked and kicked several times in the head on 15th. December 2002, Reuben was not well enough to preach at evensong this evening. Following the suggestions made directly after the morning Mass by fellow Reader Roland Robbins and Fr. Andrew Beeston, Reuben was taken to hospital for further examination, spent the rest of the day in bed and was also seen by his G.P. the following day. Once the court case is over and once he feels a bit better, Reuben will write about the events of the attack on 15th. December 2002 and all that has happened because of his ordeal.

Reuben will keep his appointment and preach next week on 19th. January 2003 as part of the week of Prayer for Christian Unity at: Cullercoats Methodist Church, The Broadway, Cullercoats, NORTH SHIELDS 0900hrs & 1045hrs
